EELA-2 (E-science grid facility for Europe and Latin America: http://www.eu-eela.eu/) is pleased to announce the Call for Abstracts/Papers for the Second EELA-2 Conference that will take place in Choroni, Venezuela, from November 25 to 27, 2009.
CONDITIONS AND DEADLINES:
- Abstracts, written in English, should be comprehensive enough to describe the actual content of the contribution (400 to 800 words) and should be sent to Esta dirección electrónica esta protegida contra spambots. Es necesario activar Javascript para visualizarla as text, word or pdf.
- Accepted abstracts, either for oral or poster presentation, should be converted into papers of about 6 to 7 pages using this MSWord template http://documents.eu-eela.org/record/1281/files/, written in English (using the UK English dictionary) and (the MSWord version preferably zipped) should be sent to Esta dirección electrónica esta protegida contra spambots. Abstract submission deadline: September 4th, 2009
Acceptance notification: September 25th, 2009
Camera ready papers: October 16th, 2009

The Second EELA-2 Conference will be held in Choroní, Venezuela on November 25th to 27th 2009. Its aim is to be both an “open conference” and a “user forum” and its Scientific Programme is conceived to reach two main objectives:
- Present a selection of the most impressive results obtained by scientific communities using not only EELA-2 but also other e-Infrastructures in Latin America and the rest of the world.
- Discuss policies and plans for the long term sustainability of Regional e-Infrastructures, with special emphasis on the Latin American one.
