Prominent members of the computer and network security community in Europe will present a two-day TRANSITS training course for staff members of new or established Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRTs) on 25-26 January 2011 in Frankfurt, Germany.
Co-organised by TERENA and ENISA (the European Network and Information Security Agency) and hosted by the European Central Bank, the course will focus on the operational, organisational and legal aspects of incident response. It is designed for professionals who are current or future members of existing computer security teams, or who will be involved in building such a team within their own organisation.
The venue for the workshop will be the European Central Bank in Frankfurt, Germany. The workshop will start early in the morning of Tuesday 25 January and will finish late on Wednesday 26 January 2011.
Participants from not-for-profit organisations will be charged a fee of €500. The fee for participants from commercial companies is €750. The fee includes all course materials, a CD-ROM and the course folder, three nights accommodation (24-26 January), breakfast included, and refreshments, lunch and dinner on 25 and 26 January.
The deadline to apply for participation in the workshop is 30 November 2010.
